The Equality Moonshot is a new initiative, backed by the UN to promote the 5th Sustainable Development Goal, Gender Equality.
Equality Moonshot
While focusing on gender equality, the Equality Moonshot aims at women capturing at least 30% of the investments and wealth created from the estimated 25 trillion dollars that will be spent in the next two decades to achieve the SDGs.
This can be done by encouraging and supporting young women & girls in education, particularly in the STEM industry.
